The Ohio Nurses Foundation (ONF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization dedicated to providing funding to advance nursing as a
learned profession through education, research and scholarship. To make
this mission a reality, ONF has chartered three Councils:
Continuing Education Council
The purpose of the Continuing Education Council is to guide and
assist the organization with identifying, planning and overseeing the
management of continuing education provider units to further the Mission
and Vision of ONF. ONF will partner with individuals, corporations,
businesses, and other nonprofit organizations committed to the tenets of
ONF's Mission.
Development Council
The purpose of the Development Council is to guide and assist the
organization with the fundraising for ONF. The Ohio Nurses Foundation
offers different levels of philanthropic engagement. ONF will partner
with individuals, families, corporations, businesses, and nonprofit
organizations committed to the tenets of ONF's Mission. The
Development Council will work with and welcome the following:
- Gift giving from individuals, families, corporations &
organizations, trusts, and other foundations.
- Contributions received in various forms including charitable gifts
of cash and/or securities, planned (future) gifts, and/or
endowments.
The goal is to enrich the nursing profession by providing nursing
scholarships and research grants to Ohio Nurses.
Grantsmanship Council
The purpose of the Grantsmanship Council is to guide and assist the
organization with identifying, obtaining and overseeing the management
of grants that further the Mission and Vision of ONF. The Ohio Nurses
Foundation will partner with individuals, corporations, businesses, and
other nonprofit organizations committed to the tenets of ONF's
Mission.
